Conner's Voicemail
The star of the Reefside High School soccer team and a promising player on the local club team as well, Conner McKnight was a self-absorbed jock until the day he ended up in detention with Ethan James and Kira Ford, and Doctor Tommy Oliver dragged them off on a field trip to a museum. Naturally, the field trip went wildly awry. Conner, Ethan, and Kira ended up inadvertently discovering the Dino Gems, which imbued them with special powers, and ultimately became the Dino Thunder Power Rangers. He resisted his calling at first, and it took him a while to get over his resentment of the fact that he walked away from a shot at a pro soccer career to do his Ranger duty.
He has an identical twin brother, Eric, who went to the Wind Ninja Academy but never became a Ninja Ranger, although Conner and his fellow Dino Rangers briefly did join forces with their predecessors, the Ninja Rangers, for one crucial battle.
It's arguable that Conner, whose Dino Gem gifted him with superhuman speed, was the most powerful of any Red Ranger during his time in spandex, but it was never a destiny he accepted with ease, and Dr. Oliver had to keep nudging him toward accepting his role as a Ranger and as the team leader.
The power of the Dino Gems was drained in the final battle against Mesogog, and Conner, Ethan, Kira, and Trent went on to live perfectly normal lives. Still, having been a superhero has changed Conner for the better, and he's no longer the thoughtless, selfish kid who's only looking out for his own fun and personal gain. By the time Bridge Carson, Elizabeth "Z" Delgado, and the other members of their Space Patrol Delta cadet squad are promoted to full Ranger status 20 years in the future, Conner will be famous for starting a series of kids' soccer camps all across the country.
For now, though, Conner is an eighteen-year-old in his final year of high school -- due to an unfortunate misfiling of much of his Reefside senior year transcript. He's transferred to Fandom High in hopes of trying to figure out how to live a normal, non-superhero life again. He really has no idea . . . especially considering that despite the fact that he followed his old mentor Doctor Oliver here on a tip from Hayley, Tommy's been here longer than Conner thought he was gone.

Availability in General
Weekday availability between approximately 8AM-6PM PST will be sporadic at best depending on my workload and whatever special projects come my way, so generally slowplay; I may be able to get in a decent amount of interaction, take a few pings, or might not have time at all. It's completely up in the air, but afternoon interaction will almost invariably be very, very slow. The chance of my being around on weeknights is fairly decent between 6PM and 10PM PST, but no guarantees. And I'm typically around, on and off, all day on the weekend. |
